Registration of Entry and Exit of Foreign Nationals Traveling to and from the Lao PDR

From 1 September 2025 onwards, the Lao PDR will implement a new Lao Digital Immigration Form (LDIF) to facilitate and streamline border clearance procedures.
The LDIF will initially be applied at four international checkpoints, including:

• Wattay International Airport

• Luangprabang International Airport

• Pakse International Airport

• Lao–Thai Friendship Bridge I

All foreign nationals and stateless persons holding passports who enter or depart from the Lao PDR are required to complete registration through the LDIF prior to entry or departure via the following website:
